Matt is the owner/operator of Hively Landscaping. He started mowing yards at age fourteen. Ten years of hard work, determination and a vision have taken that mowing business and turned it into a successful landscaping business that prides itself on its outstanding reputation. Matt has attended vast ILCA programs over the years and plans on having a relationship with his clients for years to come. Matt spends his free time being outdoors, riding motorcycles and racing Motocross.

Our office and human sources are kept in check by Marybeth. She’s a native to Illinois and started calling Plainfield home in 1989. She received a Degree in Photography from College Of DuPage in 1989 and keeps that creative side alive with photography and gardening. She attended a farming program to help make her organic chicken farm dream become a reality. When she’s not running to keep up with her three teenagers, she’s running a few miles around town to stay healthy.

Chad was born and raised in southwestern Ohio. He grew up working with his father who was employed with the sports turf industry. After earning his degree in Business Management and working for a local landscaping company for over five years, he decided to venture to a larger green market and relocated to the Chicagoland area. Chad now holds the position of sales manager at Hively Landscaping, Inc. where he oversees all residential and commercial accounts. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, working out, and spending time with his family.

John joined the company in 2011 and has proven to be a great addition to the Hively team. He makes sure that everything behind the scene runs smoothly. From keeping the shop ticking, to making sure the vehicles and equipment are all in operating order.  John’s also our CDL driver that gets all our job materials where they need to be. In his spare time he enjoys tinkering on cars and dirt biking.

Jose Luis is a new addition to our team with an expertise in all types of natural stone. Over a thirty year span he has won numerous awards for bluestone patios and his use of outcropping, flagstone, and natural stone walls in all aspects of hardscape design. In addition to patios and walls, he is equally adept at natural fireplaces, water features, stone steps, and outcropping placement. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and drawing. We are very lucky to have him crafting beautiful stone elements that will last a lifetime.
